ENGLISH COURSE FOR CHILDREN - Pre A1 Starters
The exam is fun and challenging and is based on familiar topics and situations. The test also helps create a positive attitude towards English language exams.
Who is the exam recommended for?
Children between the ages of 7 and 8 who have taken about 100 hours of English lessons.
In this exam the child will have to:
- know the names of the colors in English
- answer very simple personal questions
- respond by writing a single word

ENGLISH COURSE FOR CHILDREN - A1 MOVERS
The child is encouraged to communicate in English and to create a positive attitude towards future English language exams.
Who is the exam recommended for?
Children who are recommended to take YLE Moversare usually between the ages of 8 and 11 and have attended about 175 hours of English lessons.
In this exam the child will have to:
- understand basic instructions
- answer simple questions about themselves
- write simple data (such as days of the week, times or names)

ENGLISH COURSE FOR CHILDREN - A2 FLYERS
certifies that the child is able to understand and express themselves in a basic level of English.
A2 Flyers corresponds to the A2 Basic level of the Common European Framework and is equivalent to the Cambridge English: A2 Key (KET) for Schools..
Who is it recommended for?
Children who take this exam are usually between the ages of 9 and 12 and have been studying English for two or three years (approximately 250 hours of English lessons).
In this exam the child will have to:
- explain the differences between two stories or two images
- write or tell a short story in English
- ask questions and use past tense
